Cancellation Policy

At Professional Data Projects (“PDP,” “we,” “us“), we strive to deliver a seamless learning and consulting experience. However, we understand that circumstances may change. This Cancellation Policy outlines how and when you can cancel your enrollment, booking, or order for any of our products and services (collectively, the “Services”), and what charges or refunds may apply.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to:
Pre‑recorded digital courses sold via our Learning Management System (LMS) or authorized marketplaces.
Live online bootcamps, cohorts, and workshops hosted by PDP.
One‑on‑one consulting, mentoring, or coaching sessions.
Custom data‑engineering projects or enterprise services governed by a Statement of Work (“SOW”).

No‑Show Policy: Failure to attend a live session without timely cancellation counts as a “no‑show,” incurs 100 % of the session fee, and is non‑refundable.
3. How to Cancel
Email your cancellation request to team@professionaldataprojects.com or submit a ticket via your LMS dashboard.
Include:
Full name and registered email
Order ID / invoice number
Service name and scheduled date (if applicable)
Reason for cancellation (optional)
Response Time: We acknowledge cancellations within 2 business days.
4. Effect of Cancellation
Refunds: If your cancellation meets the criteria above, refunds are processed under our Refund Policy and returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
Course Access: Access to digital course materials and private communities will be revoked once a cancellation leading to refund is approved.
Certificates: Any issued certificates become void upon cancellation.
5. Rescheduling & Transfers
Live Sessions: You may reschedule a consulting session once free of charge, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Course Deferral: You may defer enrollment to the next cohort once at no additional cost; subsequent deferrals incur a 10 % administrative fee.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We may waive cancellation fees due to medical emergencies, bereavement, or other verified extenuating circumstances at our sole discretion. Documentation may be required.
7. Policy Abuse & Academic Integrity
Repeated cancellations, excessive content consumption before cancellation, or suspected misuse (e.g., accessing substantial course materials and then cancelling) may lead to denial of future enrollments and/or withholding of refunds.
8. Changes to This Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy. Material changes will be posted on our website and, where feasible, communicated via email to active users. Continued use of Services after changes signifies acceptance.
